 Laurie Melting Laurie Melting began playing the violin at the age of nine and went on to earn degrees in music from Northwestern University and DePaul University. Eventually, her love for improvising led her to study with a jazz violinist and she added jazz to her styles, while maintaining her classical roots. She has played with various groups around the Twin Cities ranging from string quartets to bands and performs for a contemporary service at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church in Plymouth, Minnesota. Laurie's love for music was inspired by both of her parents; who were orchestra and band teachers. She went on to teach many violin students and is currently working for a major financial services firm, while maintaining a busy musical schedule on the weekends. |
 Shannon Wenzel Shannon Wenzel has been studying music since the age of five. She began with piano and later on pursued the trumpet. Since her early childhood years, she has participated in jazz bands and a variety of vocal choirs for which she has received multiple recognitions and awards. In 2009, she was presented with a scholarship from Roseville Area High School upon graduating in order to continue pursuing music and music education. She is currently studying vocal music at Bethel University with the intention of pursuing a major in Vocal Music Education and Performance. She has performed at a variety of locations in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas and continues to seek out opportunities to feed her passion for performance. |
 Charlie Cherrier Charlie started his 30 + year journey as a guitar player when he was in his late teens. The sound of a guitar being played has captivated him ever since. His musical influences come from a wide range of styles that include rock, jazz, blues, folk, and gospel music. Each of these genres are represented in Charlie's eclectic repertoire; is his through his exposure to a wide variety of music styles that he utilizes unique guitar tones and tasteful phrasing to create his signature sound. Charlie currently lives and works in the Twin Cities. |
